6 Months Post Op (Before & After ?)

  • Popular Post
It’s my 6 month surgery anniversary… I can’t believe it’s already been half a year into this new me. This surgery has changed (and saved!) my life so much, I never thought I’d see the physical change in myself (we’re our own worst critics), but when I look at these photos… I am so damn proud of myself because I SEE where -70lbs has gone!

yep - I had my husband take pictures of my from all four sides on the 3rd of every month (because my surgery was on June 3rd) until I hit maintenance 20 months later. I love having my journey documented - and also, while I was losing, it was a great way to see my progress!

Did exercise also play a big role in your inches lost? For me I’m not one of those big losers just based on diet alone lol But I’m so interested in your story please keep us updated!

Congratulations, You look so fabulous and beach ready. I love your bikini.

You’re in the thick of it right now but I PROMISE it gets easier… by 4wks post op you’ll feel like a new person.

If I’m being totally honest, I exercise very minimally. I’ve been sticking with low carb (try to stay under 45g/day) and it’s been working well for me. But, now that I’m in the final 25lbs or so before goal it’s slowed down (was losing ~8lbs/month and in Feb I lost 4lbs), so I’m going to start incorporating exercise to keep losing.

Goosey Girl, you look fantastic! You’ve done a great job.
