  • I don't know if its WLS surgery-related or overall-weight-loss related, or food-type-consumption-related, or what, but I do notice that I just don't sleep much anymore. I probably get about 4-5 hours

I would talk to your doctor. Are you awake because of pain? Nausea? Just restless?

I take a RX sleep aid and melatonin, otherwise I’d be up all night as well. This has only been post surgery so I’m not sure what’s going on either. From my past experience when I’ve had a lot of calorie restriction, I noticed my sleep was very poor, so I just equated it to that after VSG.

I don't know if its WLS surgery-related or overall-weight-loss related, or food-type-consumption-related, or what, but I do notice that I just don't sleep much anymore. I probably get about 4-5 hours of sleep a night (uninterrupted though, which is different from pre-wls when I would get up every couple hours to pee). And I'm totally fine in terms of energy and alertness when I'm awake...if anything I even lean towards more energy than not.

I'm not complaining or anything...it's just interesting to note, I guess

P.S. I'm 2.5 years post-op.

This was me for the first 1.5-2 months. The Veritas CBD Melatonin Gummies have saved me.
