Karmen, looks like we will be close together. I’m the 24th! I just had my covid test today. Man that was not fun. I have a deviated septum which made the left side (small side) burn. I wish you all the luck!
I had to take a COVID test yesterday as well and I deff sucked. It’s my second time getting one the first one was the one where they try to reach your brain lol and I have to say that one wasn’t as bad as yesterday’s lol...Good luck to you as well on your surgery
I had my sleeve to bypass revision Dec 2 2020

Oh my, me too!! Day 3 pre op diet, not liquid just low carb high protein. Why is everyone's diet different?

Hey there friend! My name is Jessica. I saw your post & thought that I’d reach out to you bc my mom just had the sleeve on Dec. 17th and would love to have support! I had my sleeve surgery October 2014. I bet its weird having the surgery and dealing with a Covid too. Y’all are doing the best thing for your life and I’m so proud of you to step out and take care of your health long term like this!! Congrats and I’m here for support ❤️?

Hi Jessica, how is your mom doing?? I’m still a little sore and sleeping a lot, but working hard to get my water and protein in. The hardest part of having surgery done in the time of covid was that my husband had to leave me at the door, I was heartbroken. Thankfully we are past that and moving forward! Thanks for your message, it really made me smile!!

Yes, this covid test did tickle my brain. It was awful. Got the results back the next day. Negative. I cannot believe it’s 4 days away. It’s insane!

Today is day 6 of my liquid diet. Somehow I had a stall from yesterday to today on the weight loss, but I did just start my period a couple of days ago, so probably because of that. Surgery in 9 days!

Won’t be long now!!! It has started to get easier and easier. Thankfully. ?

Tomorrow is the big day! I’m ready and nervous. All the things I’ve been saying. More for the fact that the hubs can’t be there with me, but it will be okay! Especially because it’s outpatient.

Hoping tomorrow goes by fast!

Well I am officially 7 days post-op. I took a big hit from the anesthesia. An extra day later I am home doing okay. Trying to reach my goals and wrapping my mind around the future.

Hope you feel better, I had my surgery 6 days ago
