^^^ agree 100% with this. If you're trending down, you're good.

  • Also agree its not so very helpful to compare pounds lost. But I also recognize that we are human and that is what we will do (willingly or unwillingly). If you MUST compare, maybe try do

I lost about 1Lb every 2 days my first 6 weeks. Did lots of walking and took in only calories from my protein drink

We’re all different. Gender, genetics, activity levels, calorie intake, lifestyle, personal weight loss history, etc. affect our weight loss rates.

My advice is don’t compare your rate with anyone else - it can mess with your head. After battling to lose weight for years, any weight loss was a win so this process has been amazing for me. Stick to the program & you will lose weight & reach your goal.

Enjoy the journey. Good luck.

What surgery did you have? Did you do a preop diet? What's your starting weight?

Lots of factors determine weight loss

If you MUST compare, maybe try do just compare to people of your same age group and gender, as well as look at BMI’s instead of pounds lost...it will put things in a better perspective (not perfect, but better)

Good Luck!
