Hi...I'm scheduled for Nov 25...yes, the week of Thanksgiving...no Turkey for me. Just started my full liquid diet today.

Same here same day and no turkey for me either

I’m ok! My surgery was delayed by about 4 hours. Went in at 4:30pm and was in recovery about 7. Didn’t get to my room until almost midnight. All seemed to go ok, can’t believe I’m online so soon after. Pain was a solid 6 or 7 overnight. This am a PA came in and moved my drain - worst pain ever! I want to smack that dude. They want to bring me in for a GI test before anything else.

Onward and upward!

Happy Surgery Day!

@Jas592 @JerseyNJ @Chris NH

Wishing you smooth sailing and healthy vibes!

So far so good. Waiting on the dr to come around and discharge. A little sore today but nothing unbearable. I haven’t even been hungry so I’m happy with just the sips of water. Hope everyone else is doing well after surgery!

Hey guys

Today is my 14th day post op and I'm tired as hell. I feel fatigue and upper body muscle pain

Is it normal or do I have to visit the hospital

Hey guys just a little update on me surgery dat nov 1,2019 11 days post op I’m almost always hungry I can eat soft foods like egg ground turkey but I mostly thrive off sugar free popsicle protein shake mostly only one a day and at most 40 oz of water and be feeling like I’m drowning sometimes even when taking slow sips so I’ll just walk it off to help with the uncomfortableness but each day I’m starving I feel like mind over matter because I know I’m not hungry but other than that I’m doing good just need to focus on getting all my protein and water in pretty close on water but protein is harder for me I have two week follow up with dr on Monday happy to c how that goes but other than that just taking it day by day how is everyone else doing

I hear that. I was sleeved on November 4th. I had my follow up with the surgeon today. He said everything looks good. Said I can move to puree when I get 64 ounces of liquid in for 2 days straight. I'm really struggling with 40. Although, I got in 55 grams of protein today. Otherwise, I feel great. I definitely feel hunger at times, although not a whole day. I went back to work yesterday, at 1 week. I've been sleeping better and able to sleep more on my side. Never thought I'd look forward so much to 2 ounces of pureed tuna....

@HappyHikerGal thanks so much feeling pretty good now
