  • you're doing great..weight don't go on overnight and it don't come off overnight either. Stick to the program, remember "you got this"

  • Stop watching My 600lb Life. LOL! Seriously, that show is cool, but gives all of us the impression that we should be able to lose 25lbs in a week! LOL! The average rate of loss is 2-4lbs per week

What weight did you start at? Where are you now? Are you getting enough protein?

Thank you i appreciate it!

I think you're on track. I'm 8wks out also and have lost 37lbs. I stalled for 3 1/2wks too it was horrid! For the first 3months most sites say you'll typically lose from 30-40lbs. So you're ahead of the prediction!

The average rate of loss is 2-4lbs per week. That's it. If you weigh more, you "can" possibly lose a lot more than that per week in the early months. But that's not a general truth.

You're doing great. There will be stalls. I had a 3 week and a 6 week stall.

Hiya, I'm 7 weeks post op and have only lost 34lb... i understand your frustration and hate that I'm a very slow loser but 45lbs is fantastic! You are doing great, keep it up!!

^^ that's it as long as that number keeps going down you'll be right mate :)

I am right there with you! Headed into my 9th week (sleeved 7/22). I am seeing inches come off more than the bloody numbers on the scale...honestly, I stopped stepping on it. I just do my water and protein like others say. I am having issues where I don't really want to eat, but make myself to stay on track with the protein. Things just taste funny!
