Well, I'm done and 3 days out. Pop cycles seem to be the only thing I can do. I'm not hungry after taking the meds I've been given. For those of you that may think you're too old, I'll be 73 next month and wanted my life back. The last 5 years when my band failed I really started to gain weight. I'm looking forward to being able to jump off the boat and get up the ladder again. Kayaking too. Just need to get through this recovery period, I'm not a patient woman. I realize it is only for the next four weeks of the rest of my life.

Congratulations !!!!! I’ll be 59 in a few weeks & I’m determined to make the rest of my life the best of my life!! You’ve got a great attitude! I’m also so looking forward to boating too & actually feeling good about wearing summertime clothes. I’ve always loved boating but always felt painfully self conscience. Kayaking is on my bucket list too!!! Looking forward to hearing about your progress!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
