Juice has a lot of sugars

A one pound fluctuation doesn't mean anything. It could be water weight. It could be hormonal. It could be nothing at all. Sometimes my weight fluctuates anywhere from a pound to three pounds. You're not going backwards... you'll be okay. But do lay off the juice - unnecessary sugars and carbs. Get some sugar free Koolaid.

When you're sick you do what you can to get liquids in, and so don't beat yourself up about that. Just put it behind you and get back on the path. Stressing over things releases cortisol and that can cause weight gain, so don't let stress get the better of you. You analyzed the problem, it was temporary, and you knew enough to come here and get encouragement to get back on track. Way to go!!! You did great!!!

Thank you Cindi_Augustine your words are very encouraging! I didn't know that stress can cause weight gain also, so I'm definitely going to try to relax.

Agree that you need to stop the juice. Don't drink your calories.

I used MyFitnessPal to make a graph of my weight, and noticed that I normally do fluctuate around a 2-3 lb range. Turns out that’s perfectly normal. Water, salt intake, muscle loss or gain from exercise, hormones...Turns out the scale can be very deceitful. LOL
