Hey everyone I'm new here and just searching out about how any calories on average everyone is having?

Back story

I am nearly 1.5yrs post Bypass, have gone from 180kg down to 102.3kg, in the last 4mths I have been hospitalised with ulcers which have now cleared up and healed. I try to average about 1100 calories a day but am finding it hard to keep the weightless moving. I exercise an average of 3-4times a week. If I eat less calories I struggle and binge eat and crave. Photos are of what I eat in a day sometimes I feel like i eat way too much and have no restriction other days u can't eat much at all. that's going to really vary a lot between people depending on several factors. I had to experiment with different calorie levels to find my "sweet spot". I can maintain my weight as long as I don't go over 1700 kcal most days of the week. If I drop below 1500, I start to lose. But I know other people who maintain on 1000 or 1200 and have to drop below that to lose. So to answer your question, I usually eat around 1700 kcal/day (I'm in maintenance now).

I'm 5 months post-op and eat around 850 calories but I'm in a stall and I tried dropping it to 600/day but no luck so now I'm going to try to increase it to 1000 and see if my body is in starvation mode and try to get out of this stall.

I was in an 18 day stall and upped my calories by 150 (from about 800 to 950) and then started dropping weight again. I’m consistently losing about .5-1.0 pounds a day since then.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
