Good stuck in throat?

Hi! I’m almost 3 weeks post op, and it seems that most times after I eat I feel like food is stuck in my throat. Is this normal and has anyone else had experience with this? It’s soooo uncomfortable

No, I never really felt like that and I'm 4 months post-op sleeve.

It's pretty common in the beginning. We're so used to drinking with meals that we sometimes don't chew enough. (Even if you chewed for 20 seconds or whatever. If your mouth is dry you will still have issues.) If something gets stuck, it's ok to have a LITTLE sip of Water to help wash it down. I sometimes had to take the sip while I was still chewing, because I just couldn't soften the food. (I take diuretics.)

They told me when food gets stuck a little pineapple juice helps a lot.

I am in week 3 and I had this experience last night. I think my Protein was too 'dry'. I took a digestive enzyme. It felt like my throat was closing almost.
