Does anyone else get super excited about their donation pile? This is just the latest

I didn't realize how many pants (40 plus) , shirts(60 plus) , jackets(12 plus), t shirts(close to 100) or clothes in general that I accumulated. All donated to my church and all are being put to good use. Today I have four pairs of jeans , six dockers, four dress pants a dozen t shirts and I don't buy clothes anymore. I guess being morbidly obese I bought clothes to make me feel better. Being healthy I don't feel the need to buy clothes to make me feel better. The upside, many people are wearing close to brand new clothing and getting good use out of them due to my overindulgence.

I absolutely agree!
When you feel and look better, you don’t need to rely on clothes as much to try and give you a boost. I had WAY too many clothes

My local Goodwill is upgrading and remodeling, going to have a drive- through lane like fast food. Got about 5 Styrofoam totes from when I was getting TPN supplies weekly, full of 5X, 4s and 3s, going to drop them off next week, if they sell the totes later, so be it!

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!

Have a great Wednesday too! Sorry you're hungry all the time, I'm pretty much the same..and I'm sick of eating the same food all the time.

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
