Congratulations! I was also given a date in February 2019. But I was told by surgeons staff that insurance has not approved yet. Is this the norm?

My insurance approved first, maybe on General Principles? Goody, Frustr8 is going to have her surgery, maybe she'll stop bothering us! I knew it was okay but had to wait until September 5th because of vacations.

I'm sure I'm worrying for nothing. I just don't want insurance to deny and then I'm disappointed. But I understand they probably need to book the OR.

I’m feb 5! But for bypass, my gerd can get really nasty when it wants to so I don’t want to risk the sleeve procedure.

Mine surgery is scheduled for Feb 7th. I just got my insurance approval, but my insurance is usually really fast compared to many.
