My VSG is scheduled for January 7th, 2019. I have to get it done before school starts up, which is January 14th. Is anyone else celebrating getting a surgery date like I am!?

    I’m new at this so bare with me. Surgery date is Jan 21st. I just retired on Nov 30th so now it’s me time and taking care of myself. Still nervous though. ?

    I am finished all of my pre-operative classes and called the surgeon's office today to get an update. I am currently waiting for a call back. The surgeon said that he believed surgery would be mid to late January, so I am hoping that I hear something soon because i know there is a 2 week liquid diet. Congratulations to all who have gotten their surgery and good luck to everyone!
