  2. Haven’t had too many issues with purées or even soft foods. Tuna and chicken seem to do ok - even tried a tiny bit of very tender roast (hey. I make it I try it. ;). Lol!!). I haven’t tried eggs yet - maybe tomorrow. The only thing that has disagreed with me is pudding, weirdly enough.
  3. That’s all I want to do. :). Hoping tomorrow it’s better outside and safer to travel.
  4. I start pureed foods today. Finally. :). That chicken salad sounds amazing!! Having a very off day today- stuck indoors again due to weather and I am going stir crazy.
  5. I went back after a week and three days. Second week back and I do regret not taking the extra time off. But just a little. It was nice to feel normal again. :)
  6. oh good! its so cold up here, and I need something other than broth! Two more days!

  10. I feel the same. I can start purées on Wednesday but blending meat sounds so ...yuck.
  11. I’m two and a half weeks out from surgery now. Got the ok on Wednesday to move to full liquids - finally dived in today and had some chicken and wild rice soup - strained as much as I could of course. Oh. My. Heck. My new friend (whatever I call my nonexistent stomach now) DID NOT APPROVE. The McDonald’s on the way home that I stopped at to use the facilities is now somewhere I can never go again. Uuugh.
  12. ME TOO. at least Miralax doesnt taste bad...but UGH!

  14. Barb. So sorry to hear all the pain you have been through! I had a sleeve in April 2015 and while not as severe as yours, I had a lot of problems with reflux and pain and gain afterwards. I had a revision to RNY 13 days ago....and I feel AMAZING. Pain is gone. Reflux gone. It’s truly remarkable how well I feel!! I was apprehensive as well but I am so glad I did it. I feel like I got myself and my life back.

  16. One week post op. Note: milk of magnesia WORKS! Feeling better than normal today so I’m trying yoga again. I haven’t made it too far in a class since the reflux so I’m looking forward to it!

  19. 3 days post op and this gas NEEDS. TO. GO. Otherwise I feel great and can bend and twist like an aerobics instructor. ;). But the gas?? It’s like a 50 pound weight. Ugh.

  23. Drinking is a little rough. Not sure if it’s the gas pains or the new stomach being all salty, but I’m trying to get some liquid Tylenol down with a little water and it isn’t feeling great
  24. They have been amazing. Going home this morning hopefully - all depends on what the doctor says. I didn’t bring much- honestly all I have used is my phone and reading glasses. :). Thought I’d get some reading done or watch a movie - nope. Sleep, walk, sleep, walk. That’s about it. :)
  25. 15 hours post op. First few hours were really rough with grogginess and pain. Turned out to be from the gas they pump in you. I won the “can she pee any more frequently” award as I think it’s been almost every 45 minutes ...LOL... but feeling pretty good considering!
