Phase One update

Today is my 5th day post op. I've been getting my recommended amount of protein from shakes (60g) along with 60 oz of water. After the 1st 24 hrs, I could have food from my funnel diet list. The only think I've had has been some bone broth and a small bite of tomato bisque. I didn't care for the tomato.

Tonight my daughter made cauliflower white chedder soup and it was amazing. I ate tiny little bites and tomorrow I'm going to have it again and add some unflavored protein powder.

Today, my incision pain is better but where the big incision is still hurts when I'm moving around a lot or sitting up too long.

I really appreciate having this board and being about to share others experiences about our jouney.
