Today is the first day of my pre op diet as well. Wish me luck, things could get ugly!

Hey sleeve buddy! There’s a couple of us with the same day as you. Welcome!
Cry on my shoulder if you want , Ivebeen chugging?along since its. descending into embarrasing sameness. breakfast shake-- snack fruit --lunch salad and shake-- afternoon snack shake--dinner frozen entree under300 calories or 6 oz lean meat and 1 c non-starchy vegetable no peas, corn or any variety of potatoes--evening snack- shake m 64 oz or more no calorie no caffeine drinks or water, I can also eat all the raw or cooked veggies I want as long as non starchy. And that is,my diet.

And so it’s begins :)

surgerys tomorrow.

Surgery is Tom.or.row.

this has been several decades in the making.

Anywho funny how there clearly is no pattern when it come to post-op pain. Each person has their own unique experience it seems. Fingers crossed I’m one of those pain in the butt unicorns that immediately farts cotton candy, burps rainbows, and frolicks their way out of the hospital unhinged ?

Got my call! I have to be there at 5:30am tomorrow. Wish me luck & send positive vibes! ♥️

I start tomorrow, im so worried about sticking to it

Good luck! Stick with it as best you can. It really helped me learn to distinguish physical hunger and head hunger, which I find vital to establishing a successful postop eating lifestyle.
