Hi,
Out of all these shakes in the picture which ones do you recommend? I am currently drinking Slim Fast vanilla cream and I CAN’T tolerate it. Please help. Going to get samples from my nutritionist.

  • I love premier protein. They have it at Walmart but the Costco price is better. More flavors

  • None of them. Honestly, I am living for Premier Protein shakes (premade ones). You can get them at Walmart or Sam's Club, and the they are awesome. 30g of protein, 5g of carbs, only 1g of sugar and th

I very scientifically bought and tasted about 10 different products...had my family taste them, too. Premier Protein, hands down, was the most tolerable (to us, anywho) Some were truly gagw

I don't understand this.

It's incredibly easy to add carbohydrates.

She wants you to get some carbs have an Isopure and some applesauce after. This makes no sense to me. And isopure is very common postop, hell that's what my hospital gives you while you're there

Yeah i dont understand either. Applesauce isn’t an option she gives. Only shake and vegetables. Liquids- water, decaf coffee/tea, sugar free popsicles, sugar free jello. I uploaded the paper.

I’m scared To even suggest applesauce.

I will say I started off buying premier just because it was convenient and everyone else swore by it. I AM NOT LONGER THAT PERSON.

I SWEAR by UNjury. It is so good. They even have a chicken soup protein mix to use as broth and OMG YUMMMMM!

Ladies and gents. I tried Boost chocolate sensation and I love it. She gave me a free sample and I’m just going to stick to it. No experiments here. I’m not the experimental type.

Hello,

As I cannot stomach "protein" shakes, my dietician suggest I try protein water. I was not aware they made such a product:unsure:, but they do :) I have to say it is much better than a shake :)

Dawn

None of them. I did the Optifast program before surgery and they were all decent. Now I use the Isopure cookies and cream which gets me 50g of protein in each 2 scoop serving and tastes like a milkshake.

Maybe see if you can try a different shake?

Does anybody have a picture of the nutrition facts on Premier Protein? Because I need to see how many carbs are in it. Just because it says 1g isn’t true because that’s the “Net”.

I just finished one... here you go!

My surgeons office doesn’t think very highly of the Premier shakes. I guess the protein source isn’t as good as milk whey. I like the variety of flavors they offer and the ease of RTD. ☹️
Premier protein for sure! I love the strawberries n cream shake and was on my list they even gave samples

The last few weeks I've been freezing my premier protein shakes, then putting them in a blender with some skim milk, Splenda, and pb2 peanut butter powder. Basically like a milk shake

But I think freezing premier shakes then putting them in a blender makes them much thicker and more enjoyable. Definitely a poor man's milkshake, and honestly it's more filling as well. The pb2 is just the icing on the cake but coffee will make it like a frappe too

Honestly, I've never tried any of these. My favorite is premier. Everything about it is good. While premier is good it’s only 17 servings per can ( powder) & 18 to a case at Costco costing 25.99. I would have to buy 4 cases in order to have 3x a day for 30 days.

My NUT told me when I asked about premier protein that it dose not contain the 30g of protein. I love them so she said to only count them as 20g. The carnation no sugar added is not bad.

Premier Protein has been a lifesaver. Their vanilla is great. Heard their other selections are tasty except the caramel made me gag if I drank it more than once per day.
