Gained weight? Is this normal??

I had my sleeve done on 6/4, up until a few days ago I lost weight every single day. But on Wednesday the scale said I gained 1.5 pounds! I haven’t changed anything with my food, I’ve only been taking in about 500 calories a day.
I’m getting worried, anyone else experience this?

Don't worry, your body is just catching up. You usually lose inches when you don't lose weight. Weight fluctuates a lot. It will be fine!

I agree that different factors like hormones can play a role. I notice I either stall or gain about 2 pounds between when I ovulate and get my period. Afterwards I go back to losing weight. Before my surgery I would gain weight during that time and loss it after my period started. I still crave salty things during that timeframe too. I believe that is so my body can retain more water to cause the unwanted bloating lol.

Hope this helps.

It's just water weight, nothing to worry about. If you ate only 500 kcal that day, your body had to burn some fat to support your basal metabolism, even if the scale showed otherwise.
