Absolutely... when I told my surgeon the week before surgery that I joined this site, he was a bit hesitant and warned me that he's a bit conservative with his post-op instructions and that I should limit the advise that I take online because what somebody else's surgeon might have given them instructions that widely vary from his.

If he checked out the site, he'd see how often the responses are "check with your doctor" and maybe not be so worried

Unfortunately not all of them are that way... When I was in my first few weeks post-op, I got a bit of an attitude from one member because they felt I wasn't doing things properly... I also noticed other posts by them that were very "do this and that." So I just stopped paying attention to some things and posting as much when I was struggling with the deep ketosis.

Hope it wasn't me! I do think everyone tries to be helpful and supportive, but some of us are diplomatically challenged.

UGH! Tried 1/2 oz of thin-sliced ham wrapped around a string cheese stick - foamies again! Not even 1.5 oz and I've been miserable for over an hour. I didn't even eat the whole thing! This is getting SOOOOO OLD!
