I hate it when people post just to post.....

....like when clearly the post has no relevance or adds no value to the OP's question or concern.

Like this:

OP Question: I am having trouble finding a good fish recipe I like...can anyone help?

Response: I hate fish! Fish makes me gag!

Can someone explain the purpose of this? I mean, if you don't like fish, then why dont you just move on to the next thread? Who really cares what makes you gag or not gag???? I know I don't.

She sounds like my grandmother. My grandmother was 5'3" and weighed 90 lb. soaking wet. I never saw her eat. NEVER. I even stayed with her one weekend and never saw her eat the entire time.

Once when my sister was getting married, we all started out at my mom's house and were trying to get out the door to go to where the wedding was. My mom had cut up a cantaloupe so we could have something to eat given that we had no idea when we'd get a meal again until the reception at 6pm. My grandmother gave me a hard time about having ONE slice of cantaloupe for breakfast. She said "You don't see the thin people eating cantaloupe, do you?" Mind you, at the time I was merely overweight, not even obese, let alone morbidly obese.

I just gave her a look that I hope said "you crazy old bat" because I figured it would be rude to actually say that.

Oh and she was always convinced that she could do a better job parenting the grandkids than their parents (her children) could. Which was pretty  because she was a HORRIBLE parent who would not talk to her kids for months if they did something to upset her and most of her kids went through at least one period where they didn't speak to her for years once they were adults.

Ya, but if it wasn't for the fact she is HIS grandma I would say it. My grandma would never in a million years so anything like that to me, so it is REALLY hard for me to handle. I wanted to f*ing kill her.

Why can some people feel they have the right to be so mean?

OMG, are you serious BBK!?? What a horrible thing to say! You so don’t deserve to be treated that way.

I have a nice big box in my garage I’ve been saving for a special occasion. Not sure why it was that I did save it, but I’m sure it could fit all your in-laws and you can ship their asses straight to Abu Dhabi.

Thanks!

I'll only take that box if it has no holes for breathing, I wouldn't want to give them false hope....lol....

i'm just really done w/105 degree days:frown: my only escape it visiting the parents in FL this wk, and get to go from TX to FL in Aug. ....dreaming of snow....

I heard it was REALLY overly hot in Texas and with the hurricane a'coming. It's hot enough in Atlanta; I can't imagine that crap. (I had originally typed "that blows" but thought it might not be appropriate!)

the only affect we (dallas) will be affected is maybe rain and hopefully cooler temps.

heard on the news today today was day 11 of over 100 degree temps and 17 out of 18 days over 100... GAHHHHHHHHHH!

I'm over it raining and being effing freezing cold here. Over it.

oh She, i would LOVE a day of freezing rain, cuddled up in a blankie. only got to 103 today, my horses/longhorns would love to be inside & my preggo lab just won't go outside during daylight.

have another litter of labs on the way & would really love a cold spell to kick in:lol:
