My surgeon specifically told me to not worry about the scale until my 2-week post op appointment. I'm assuming it's because of what you're describing. Don't be too hard on yourself---it will happen!

I know everyone’s body is different and loses R different rates. However I’m one week post op as of today and I’m so frustrated that I’m only down one pound. Fluids and protein have not been that much of a problem. With the restriction I just assumed I would have lost by now. Hell, I lost more weight,8 pounds, on my 1 week pre op liquid diet than post op. WITW!!
