Need some tips

I’m 3 days post op and have a ton of air on my stomach. I’ve been drinking water and taking Prevacid. Haven’t been able to tolerate protein as of yet. But the gas pains are killing me. It’s hurting all up into my shoulder. Any tips, besides walking, to help relieve the pressure!!!!!

I sparkleheart the GasX strips someone on here told us about! They made me feel so much better, so quickly!

It helped me to do the "bicycle motion" like I used to do on my gassy babies- lay in bed (on my side or on my back- 3 DPO you're probably better off on your side) and draw your knee up as close to your chest as possible nice and slowly, then stretch your leg straight out again. Do it a few times then roll over and switch sides.

Nothing helped me as much as walking.

I'm sorry this is happening to you. I agree with @Creekimp13. Walking helped me the most. Good luck!

Thank you. I did get the gas x and have been walking. It’s very slowly getting better.
