I am 10 days post op and I am always hungry. The first 4 days I didn't even think about food, and now I'm always hungry. I drink my water and my protein shakes too. Is there ANYTHING I can eat at this stage that won't hurt me. Oh and I had the gastric sleevr not lap band.

Thanks for the info. I have never even heard of that before u said it. Instead of wasting a bunch of money and buying it I just made my own. It actually did help with hunger quite a but and very tasty too, I might add.

I was starving Marvin at day 14. NUT said the continue drink my soups and protein as much as needed. Don’t worry about loosing weight. Just heal. I was able too thicken my soups up slightly. No soild food. At day 21 I got softs. And the problem was solved.

I took a ppi/pepcid and it dramatically curbed my appetite. I don't feel hungry all of the time. I still get my protein and 32 Oz of water. I'm in week 4 post op. I will start the puree stage on Saturday. I can't wait! [emoji2]
