I have a date of Dec. 18th. Excited but very nervous. Can't believe I'm going to do this- yet I've tried so many other things over the past several years. Worried about telling my family members (sisters, etc). because I think they won't want me to do it.
Does anyone know if you can take your regular medications the night you are in the hospital? I take daily preventative meds for migraines.

When you go for medical clearance the doctor should tell you if you can take it. They told me I can take my cymbalta, Wellbutrin, and Prilosec

From what I was told, your regular meds will resume the following morning after your leak test is done. I am unable to take any of my routine meds. o.o. You may want to confirm that with your doctor.

We're surgery triplets. I'm Dec. 11th too.

I'm having my surgery on the 13, which is also my birthday. I met my surgeon at the beginning of Sept and we scheduled my surgery that same day I have to do a 4 week Pre op diet and it's so hard. I'm getting nervous now.

I am scheduled for Dec. 6th. I'll start my 1200 calorie diet on Wednesday. No big Thanksgiving or Christmas feast this year! I wish it were sooner. I'm ready to quit THINKING it to death & actually DO it!!

I'm going to ASM in MX. I weighed out my options here in So. California. My insurance requires 6 months nutrition counseling, and 1 co-morbidity. 3 months into it, I had 2 sleep studies done and felt like my sleep apnea diagnosis was questionable so I opted to not take my chances of waiting any longer only to get denied.
