What's on your bucket list now that you've had surgery? I know this might be a post that's come up a lot, but I wanted to read some fresh responses!

I don't have a bucket list per se because there isn't really anything my weight kept me from doing that I enjoyed, like going to football games (Go Eagles!) and amusement parks and things of that nature. I think I'm just looking forward to being a healthier person, more confident, breaking and getting rid of bad habits that led to the weight gain and incorporating all of the things I've learned along the way into my new lifestyle. I'm just fortunate that I was able to have the surgery to begin with and have had a lot of support throughout my journey.

Kayaking for me as well! The area I live in has a LOT of prime waterways to explore! I'd also like to get back in the saddle of a horse again. The last time I ponied up was 1981. Too long! And hiking! Although, first I need to see if I can rig a Rollator to do some SERIOUS off-roading!

I want to jump out of an airplane! I've always been too "big" to do the tandem jump without paying a "fat girl" fee. Now I can and will do it in the near future!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
