  1. I don't have a bucket list per se because there isn't really anything my weight kept me from doing that I enjoyed, like going to football games (Go Eagles!) and amusement parks and things of that nature. I think I'm just looking forward to being a healthier person, more confident, breaking and getting rid of bad habits that led to the weight gain and incorporating all of the things I've learned along the way into my new lifestyle. I'm just fortunate that I was able to have the surgery to begin with and have had a lot of support throughout my journey.
  2. There are several good ones on pinterest, although I haven't tried any yet. There are also pancake recipes that use protein powder as well.
  3. I'm on the second day of my liquid diet today lol and the first day was definitely the hardest for me. I don't feel as near death today as I did yesterday.
  4. You're very welcome. I haven't tried the Isopure but I probably won't because the Protein2o is pretty good, and if it ain't broke don't fix it.
  5. I bought Protein2o from Walmart, I have grape and lemonade but have only tried the lemonade so far. It's not bad at all. You can buy a variety pack if you want to try different flavors at once.
  6. Me too! Good luck with everything!
  7. Let me just say first and foremost that I respect every vet on here who doesn't sugar coat anything and doesn't coddle and baby people who come here seeking validation for their poor choices. I'm waiting for approval from my insurance company to be sleeved, but I have learned soooooo much from reading these threads and will forever be grateful for the people who have had success but still stick around to help others with their journeys. That being said, I find it quite amusing when someone come here seeking validation and kind words for something they know they shouldn't have done and get upset when they get the cold, hard truth from someone who's already been there and done that. I haven't even been sleeved yet but I know better than to come here asking if tacos and steak is ok to be eating 1 week post op. Let's be serious. I would rather have my feelings hurt by the truth than to be comforted by a lie.
  8. Hey that's awesome! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  9. I'm in NJ in Mt Laurel. I have two more NUT visits and one more visit with the pulmonary Dr. then I should be done. Good luck to everyone!
  10. They did. I just made sure to get a scrip from my primary for it because Horizon requires some sort of referral for stuff like that.
  11. communitycounselingmoorestownvna.org is their website, hope it helps.
  12. I have Horizon NJ Health too and I went to a place called community counseling center in Moorestown.
