Taking the Stairs

Recommended Posts

So, I stopped taking the elevator at work and started taking the stairs. I work on the 8th floor so I walk up and down 8 flights of stairs 4 to 5 times a day 3 to 4 days a week. I work from home on Mondays so I can't do it on Mondays and I am off every other Friday so I can't do it then. Before my RNY surgery I felt like I was going to puke my lungs up on anything past the 4th flight of stairs. Now I can do 8 flights with being just a little out of breath.

I love my pouch.

Thats amazing, My job is on the second floor, however you have to walk up 4 flights before you make it to the second floor. I will walk up and down as well. I figured since I have to wait for approval for the gym, why not get the exercise in when you can.

thats great! doing ANY sort of physical activity 5 days a week is extremely good for your heart. it makes heart healthy and reduces the chances of hard diseases by 75%.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
