      So, I just got the call!!! My surgery for May 1 has been approved!!!!! 17 days to go!!! My doctor has us do a liquid diet for the 3 days before the surgery. I am now very excited!

      I am way up by the Canadian border, having surgery in Syracuse. May 1 still...One more appointment to fulfill, then paperwork over to the insurance company for approval...Fingers crossed! ?

    Thank you! No gas pain and slept on my stomach. Just had my swallow test and all is well. Excited to be on the losers bench!!!

    Mine is May 19th. It is a Friday which is actually good timing, the doctor is on call that weekend anyway and hospitals are generally much less busy on the weekends!

    I wish I could have had a Friday. But I'm thankful to get out the hospital on Friday since my family is off on the weekends I'll have a lot of help

    Surgery was yesterday. I had a bad reaction to one of the med given to me during the surgery and ended up in ICU for all yesterday. Today is much better and I'm in a normal room. Hurting a little

    The stuff was gross, but not as bad as everyone said. Sort of tasted like cough medicine and vinegar! I was shocked about not having gas or nausea- I was thinking id have both!!
