October 9!! I was originally supposed to have the bypass done back in May and had everything set up but ran into problems with my insurance last minute. Now that everything is taken care of I have to get another medical clearance and blood work before the big day!

I am so upset right now [emoji17] My surgery was scheduled for May 30. I've done everything required by my insurance but they denied me because they say my sleep apnea isn't severe enough?! My BMI is at 39 so they are giving me a hard time over this. My surgeons office has put in an appeal which was denied. My last option is to go back for another weigh in to see if I'm at 40 BMI and try to resubmit to insurance which would probably push the surgery to sometime in June. I'm fine with moving the date. I just hope I can get this all worked out soon!

I have my appointment with the anesthesiologist tomorrow and scheduled for bypass surgery on May 30! I'm getting super nervous because I have never had surgery before [emoji46][emoji40]
