      So, I just got the call!!! My surgery for May 1 has been approved!!!!! 17 days to go!!! My doctor has us do a liquid diet for the 3 days before the surgery. I am now very excited!

      I am way up by the Canadian border, having surgery in Syracuse. May 1 still...One more appointment to fulfill, then paperwork over to the insurance company for approval...Fingers crossed! ?

    May 8! Gastric bypass. Approved last week after six months of visits with RD, etc. Very excited to finally get going. On day 6 now of liquids.
