So surgery today didn't go as planned some how some way my throat is to narrow and the procedure the use to put the breathing tube Scratched my throat so it made my throat swell and basically close up so I have to wait another week to have it done I'm staying over night in the hospital for observation and I'm hungry they have me eating ice chips tell further notice this sucks

Have you ever had a surgical procedure before? That is kinda of scary...I'm still waiting for paper submission to my insurance and hopefully I will have a date. And better to wait another week and be safe! Prayers with you!

I am so sorry to hear that. Praying the nest attempt will work. I have had acdf surgery and a little concerned about the plate and screws in my neckcausing a problem.

I was told that when i woke up that they had a hard time getting the tube in also my neck was not goin far back enough so that almost delayed my surgery also lucky they found a way the wierd thing is i never woke up with a sore throat but a day after i kept horking up nasty flem as if i was sick....but they will find a way
