  1. I will see the doctor on Friday and get a list of everything I need to take...I'm just taking it one day at a time or shall I say one nap at a time
  2. Yep I hear ya! We can do this
  3. Since my surgery last week March 7 a nap is a good thing, in fact I nap often which is unlike me. Is anybody experiencing this ...
  4. I had my sleeve on March 7 and I asked the Lord to go before me and smooth things with all the people and things that I would have to be engaged in and he answered my prayers. The first couple of Hours were a little rough but after that hump it seem to be al little more tolerable. I came home Thursday morning and have been doing well. Just remember to keep hydrated, breath and walk and let your body do the rest [emoji1]
  5. Thank you for your prayers
  6. I was truly blessed
  7. Thank you for this comment
  8. Today is the day that the Lord hath made. I will rejoice and be glad in it! It's my surgery day and I decree and declare that all will be well with me and to those who are scheduled today.
  9. Continue to lift us all up in prayer [emoji120]
  10. My sleeve is scheduled for Tuesday.. went to Church this morning and gave it to the Lord! I gave it to him in prayer.
  11. Prayers are with you
  12. Well it's here and I'm ready.. liquids until March 7 .. what got you through it?
  13. I went for my pre-op today and they decide to play the money card.. I was taken back of the amount that was quoted differently than first. So the lady asked me .. do you still want to do it! It took everything that I had to tell her that I've come to far and will do what I have to do to make this happen. My heart rate was trying to come up and then a still small voice came over me (The Lord) and said trust. Pre-op [emoji818]️ pre op diet.. Thursday and surgery March 7! I need some March cheerleaders to help me/us stay focused on this new life GOAL! Ain't no stopping us now ...
  14. So as I approach my surgery date I'm writing all my pros and cons... I know that it's a mind over matter when it comes to getting your IV [emoji736] done yet, I'm a Superbad stick. I think once that's done it a green light to get this new journey started. Anyone a bad stick for IV's. I'm hoping they can numb the site first verses being stuck 7 times to get it in!
  15. Well I'm sitting in the office waiting for my surgeon to come and go over all the details of my surgery before the big day. It went so slow and now it's pushing zero to 100 real quick. I'm ready for this new stage in my life.. just tell that to the butterflies in my tummy.
  16. Whoop whoop 7th for me
