Finally feel more awake

Had surgery in the morning and it was a success. I slept so much in the day thanks to the anesthesia. So far no complaints. Enjoying my pain killers

Welcome to the loser's bench.

Congrats! My worst pain was the third day...after all of the meds finally wore off. So don't be surprised if that happens. But I'm 6 days out now and don't have any real pain. Each day gets easier and easier. Good luck!!

when the gas pains start remember to walk drink your Water and heat helped me so got a heating pad.

I second this spot on advice and when you get home be proactive in walking. I would walk all around my first floor from the kitchen to the family room to the dining room. You won't always feel like walking but please do because one day I had gas so bad I wanted to cry but walking helped and keep some Milk of Magnesia on hand:)
