How long was it till you could drive after surgery?

It mainly depends on how long you are taking pain meds. As long as you are on Norco, you shouldn't be driving.

It depends on how you feel. I didn't feel comfortable driving until about 2 weeks.

I was cleared to drive after a week! I stopped taking pain meds after day 5 post op so by a week I was completely fine

I stopped narcotics after 4 days. I could drive the next day.

I took my pain meds only twice after surgery, but I was very dizzy the first two weeks so I didn't drive until two weeks out.

I was told I could drive once I felt like I could twist (to see behind me) and had been off all narcotic pain meds for 24 hours.

I was driving on the third day but I did not take any pain meds post surgery. It all depends on how you feel... as long as you are not on pain meds.

I was also told that I'd be good to drive once I was off pain meds. But I'm still preop so not sure how soon that will be!

I drove home 15 hrs after. Surgery After waking up I stopped all pain meds and was clear headed with a little soreness.

I drove after 5 days. Wasn't on any pain meds 1 day after surgery. And 2 weeks out back to driving trucks for work and hard physical stuff. Not for everyone but.
