Kickboxing

I am so bored at the gym so after my membership runs out I am going to start kickboxing. Has anyone lost weight from this workout. I mean I used to kill it at the gym twice a day and now I am so over going. lol

I hope you get some good responses. I am interested too...... There is an "i love kickboxing" place near me and it looks very interesting. workouts are with gloves and a bag,

Yes, it is a killer workout, lots of fun, practical and develops agility. Give yourself some grace as you relearn balance, it's tougher than you might think. Spend time learning to wrap your hands and wrists. It will prevent an injury (not that I'm bitter) ;-)

I love kickboxing! I used to go all the time. I miss it so much, I had to freeze my membership to my kickboxing gym at the beginning of November because I hurt my ankle and right now I can barely walk, let alone do kickboxing. As soon as my feet/ankle recovers I'll be going back. I started 3 months after I got my band and lost a good amount of weight before my band started failing. So yes it's a great workout

Oh yes! I can honestly say it is an awesome workout if your joints are up to it. I love beachbody turbo jam. Great abs and core workout not to mention great cardio.
