New Bander in Washington State

Hey all. My name is Amber. I am 32 years old and just had my Lap Band Surgery this week on 9-11. I am doing well so far....I would have to say my main complaint so far has been the gas pain in my left side since the surgery.

I am so happy to have found a Lap Band forum for support!!

Hi Amber and Barbara - I am also a Washingtonian. I was banded on Sept 13th. I must agree Amber the gas pain has been pretty intense!

Hi Washington ladies - lets keep connected and work as a team to support each other and accomplish our goals. There will be a "Banding BBQ" this Saturday, September 22nd in Lake Stevens - about30 minutes north of Seattle - I plan to be there to meet some new "banders". Hiya coastlgrl and bruce!!

Barbara....I will be getting my first fill 6 weeks post-op at my surgeons office in Redmond (Group Health Clinic.) Have fun at the BBQ and ask lots of questions!! :confused:
