calling all December 2016 sleevers!

I made a group called "December 2016 Sleevers!" I would love for everyone who has a surgery date in December to join! lets be a great support system for each other and go on this journey to a better us with great friends. Share our success and failures along the way, cheer each other on, wether you already have support from your family and friends or from nobody at all like I've unfortunately seen from some, lets make sure we definitely have each other to lean on! btw they say you normally gain weight around the holidays, are we crazy?! haha

  • Hi bariatric fan... surgery was done yesterday. The gas pain was awful yesterday and kept me nauseated. I was feeling really bad. But I walked and used my incentive spirometer for breathing exercise

I just had my surgery yesterday Dec 1st in Tijuana by Doctor Jaime Ponce De Leon. The whole experience has been really good all of the doctors and staff are some of the friendliest I have encountered in a long time. I was expecting to be in a lot of pain post surgery due to the gasses but I've been walking a lot and doing my breathing exercises. So far the worst part has been throwing up the red liquid from the gasses. I followed the preop diet strictly and started walking 45 min everyday for a week before surgery. I go home tomorrow and have a 7 hour ride home. I look forward to this new phase in my life. Here is a photo of the morning before surgery. post-306725-14806883805521_thumb.jpg
