I had a friend who had the lap band and had to have it removed due to complications. My brother got the sleeve 2 years ago and it's changed his life. He lost a lot of weight and is off insulin. I get sleeved tomorrow morning :-) Sent from my 710C using the BariatricPal App

Good luck :-) Just do your best. I am on a two week of 80-100 grams of Protein drinks and 800-1000 calories per day. You can have limited amounts of sugar free hello, sugar free popsicles, and broth. Sorry no experience in that procedure. I'm having WLS on Monday and I'll pray for a GREAT outcome and speedy recovery. Did you have to pay for this or did insurance cover it? Just thinking ahead.
