Starbucks

Just received several gift cards to Starbucks. I have not had any coffee but I was wondering. LATER ON much later (surgery 9/27) is there anything I can order at Starbucks? Or that I could add my protein shake to? Thank you!

Sure you can have ice cream! I don't know why you would choose to, though.

Cravings for ice cream? Look for HALO! High Protein, low carbs and low calorie. Available at Wholefoods and has many flavors. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App I am 9 weeks out and I have had Halo Top ice cream. A 1/2 cup has 6-7 g of Protein. It's a bit more expensive but I love that I get protein from it.

Juice is the worst, might as well just get a Snickers Bar!

The Flat White with skin milk and cinnamon is delicious. Their decafe iced coffee is also great.add sugar free flavor shot of you want

I have a skinny Caramel Machiatto every sunday since I was about 10 weeks post op. I don't have to, on sundays I'm up very early for my daughters fall league softball games... it helps wake me up and i hasnt caused a stall or made me crave.

I'm 24 days out and have no idea where I'd put a 1/2 cup of ice cream. I make a protein smoothie type thing and it takes me almost the entire workday to get it in.

I don't think it was done wrong. Some people heal faster, that reduces inflammation, which is a huge reason it feels extra extra tight in the beginning. You could be a fast healer, or I could be a slow one or in the middle. Who knows.

I can only get it 400ish calories a day and am exhausted so it's not the best thing. What I've seen on here is everyone is so different.

I usually get black cold brew, I add my own cream, if I want cream which is rare, because I just want a dash and they go nuts.

When I am running low on calories, my treat drink at Starbucks is a tall flat white.

Try freezing your Greek Yogurt

Had my sleeve on 9/20/16 and doing well on soft foods now, wondering if I can have ice cream

I have been able to have decaf immediately after my surgery. I'm 9 weeks post-op and I have a decaf latte with soy or almond milk and one of the sugar free coffee syrups at Starbucks. Usually I do caramel. Of course no whip! I have no problem with this.
