  19. if you are losing with that amount i would not change until you see the loss sliding or you go into a stall. That's how i did it. When I hit a week long stall, I went increasing my calories & Protein and lowered my carbs. This broke the stall. I'm 7 weeks out and my goal is about 100 protein and less than 30 carbs. I do track calories but don't have them as my main focus. I am averaging between 900 and 1000 and am losing about 2 lbs per week. I am also taking at least 6,000 steps a day with a goal of 10,000 daily. Good luck and I hope this helps some. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  20. Wow! That's extremely rigid. Like other posts, I was instructed to have several small meals every 2.5 to 3 hours. I was explained that this way your stomach would not be completely empty and your metabolism is also charged all day. I was explained that if deprived, the body goes into a storing mode and weight loss slows down. In fact, my NUT suggested increasing my calories when I wasn't losing. However i understand everyone is different. If the three meals are working for you, that's great. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  22. I was allowed Greek yogurt with no fruit. I would suggest Oikos Greek 10 10 10 in drinkable form to start. They have them in several flavors and help with your Protein. Not high in carbs either. Drink slowly. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  23. Proti Diet makes soy based high Protein low carb chips in many flavors for when you are ready. They provide that crunch we sometimes desire while providing a low carb protein. Just a suggestion. I love the barbecue. Btw the pack, eaten slowly is great as a snack by itself and really satisfies hunger. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  24. I don't think you made a bad choice. This journey is a long one and although we all have the goal of losing weight, if we make it a struggle and deny ourselves of everything, the journey will be long and tuff. HALO is high Protein and low carb. The entire pint is only about 240 calories, but if you have it by portions, 4 at 60 calories provides you with protein and a treat for yourself. There are also high protein low carb brownies, blondies, banana bread, corn bread, etc. Look up "eat me guilt free". Btw I know of these products because long time sleeves have recommended them. I have these things like rewards and limit the quantity per week. But I what I love is that I have the options. This does not have to be a miserable experience. Good Luck. BTW HALO Lemon Cake is delish and Red Velvet too! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  25. I'm in the same boat. Sleeved on 9/8 and have only lost 25 lbs. I thought that by now, I would have lost more. I've been on a stall of almost two weeks. I've increased my calories, reduced my carbs and trying to walk more. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  26. I always have propel. Many flavor choices available. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  27. Yes, I know what you mean. I am going to start to gauge what amount triggers that.
  28. Check out HALO Top ice cream and Eat Me Guilt Free. Both have lots of high protein low carb choices. I also use polaners no sugar added jelly I add a tablespoon to Greek plain yogurt or go 1% cottage cheese and it gives you the sweet flavor for only 10 calories and like 5 carbs. The have several flavors. Also the oikos triple zero yogurts. They have salted caramel, mixed berry, chocolate, coffee and many other flavors, help with protein and will give you the sweet kick you need. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  29. I was cleared too. I find the challenge to be knowing when I feel full. I do feel it but I might be eating to fast because it hits me all at once instead of warning me. Then I feel like a knot right above my stomach. Does anyone else feel this? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  30. I did use peanut butter but by adding to shakes. I have since switched to PB2 which is in a powder form but 80% less calories. It still flavors the shakes but better for calorie intake. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  31. My doctor just ripped off the glue from my incisions at my first post op visit. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  32. #thebestofme That's a good goal too. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
