I'm going to stay on plan tomorrow because I'm loving the work outs. But what good is it to kick your own ass at the gym only to eat those squishy, mushy, easy to go down, high calorie foods???

Tomorrow, I'm going to slowly eat my low cal Protein, eat my cooked green veggies and drink lots of Water.

Because my weight is up a couple of pounds -- I know it's from the heavy exercise this weekend (I ran a half marathon) and the Water retention issues from that, but I'll just be on edge until I get back to my lowest weight. So, the best way to do that (and to have no guilt) is to stay perfectly on plan.

I'm staying on plan today because I've been losing again of late, after a long long plateau. Every kilogram makes a huge difference and I am finally truly feeling thin. I'm going on holidays at the end of the week, and its going to be a healthy one, and I want to come back and see a nice surprise on the scales.< /p>

I'm not... it is such a crappy day.. i am PMSing so horribly and all i want is chocolate and all kinds of garbage that I do not need. I have been craving carrot cake (yup, again) for 2 days.

I am in such a bad place right now. its never been this bad before. :)

:help:

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.
