Mine is Dec 16 & since I just found out ins approved on Friday, I started pre-op diet yesterday. I feel terrible! Headache & overall just yucky!!! Praying tomorrow is better since I have to work.

I'm also from NC - Charlotte area :) I was sleeved on 12/2

Just got everything finalized last week for my Dec 28 surgery! excited and nervous, but mostly excited!! My husband had it done 1 1/2 years go so I do kind of know what to expect.... and I have great support from him.

Will be all liquid on Christmas, so we'll see how that goes. :/

Can you have your chewable vitamins the 2 days before surgery? My date is Dec 8th & I'm supposed to be clear liquid 1 day before surgery date.

MsMe, my paperwork says to stop all vitamins, and certain medications like ibuprofen, one week before surgery. I know that ibuprofen acts like a blood thinner and so does some vitamins, so, I believe that is why they want you to stop these things one week prior to surgery. Of course, you should probably get this confirmed with your doctor.

Dec 28th for me too! And I'll be on my pre op diet starting 12/14 so no Christmas Desserts for me either. I'm also excited and nervous but life is still going on and so much to do at work and home that I don't have a ton of time to think about it. But I'm super excited! Happy new year to us! Best wishes on your journey!

I'm scheduled for 12-28-15 in Cincinnati! I'm so excited, I'm getting the best Christmas present ever!!!

Tues. Dec 15 in Dallas with Victor Gonzalez. Revision band to sleeve????

I was sleeved this past Thursday 12/10.

Great news Te-Te! My surgery is Monday morning, and I'm starting to get nervous. Any last minute recommendations on what I should take to the hospital? Anything you wished you would have brought?
