Rollergal, I am on day 3 of my two weeks of nothing but liquids and I am also gagging. Going to be a long two weeks. I'm hungry!

I made it through a lot of gross shakes. Haha. Surgery tomorrow morning for me. Looking forward to a nice nap and some good meds. I've had a bunch of surgeries before so not bothered about the process. Keep on gagging it's worth it in the end.

My surgery is 12/2. I was doing okay until my daughter started asking me not to do it. Now I'm feeling panicky. I'm doing this for me and now I feel like I'm being selfish. I'm excited too and looking forward to a healthier and happier self.

Why is she saying not to? Maybe have her read all the information as well. I'd imagine she is worried she will loose you. But your doing this so you can live longer, be healthy and happy!! You've got this you aren't being selfish!!!

I'm on December 8th and feeling both excited and scared. I start my Protein diet tomorrow so it's getting real...I'm having a sleeve but it follows a lap band removal. The lap band eroded and it was very traumatic. I'm hoping for a good experience with the sleeve.

My surgery is scheduled on 12/10. I am nervous and a little overwhelmed on what products I need to buy! I am also super excited because I have been overweight my entire life and I can't wait to be able to buy clothes from anywhere!

I know what you mean--a week away and it gets very real. Let's stay in touch and support each other. I'm in Kansas--what state are you in?

Had my surgery today. All went well, up and walking around with manageable pain. Quite a bit of nausea though which I wasn't expecting. Have dozed on and off though out the day. Ice chips are my new best friend. :)

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
