I alternated between the savory of broth and the sweetness of the sugar free Popsicles. That seemed to help me. Remember that in the beginning it's more important to concentrate on keeping hydrated

Hey all,
I am 3 days post-op and I am feeling good. I am already off of my pain medication and the gas is for the most part gone. I have no cravings, and I have minimal nausea.
The only issue is that I am having a very hard time getting my 64 oz. of liquid in a day. I was able to get the 70 grams of Protein in both yesterday and today, but I can't do more than 2 - 3 oz of Fluid in an hour without getting uncomfortably full. So far I was able to get around 30 oz in yesterday and 28 in today.
I am worried that I will get dehydrated. I am doing my best to get the protein in early, so I don't have that mal-nourishment.
I called my surgeon's office THREE times, but they have "Modified hours" and were unable to help me.
Any advice?
