I honestly pureed everything I was feeding my family for dinner. Hotdish, pork chops, Soups, etc... but here are some quick fix pureeds.

Ricotta & Mozzarella with sauce (I liked a pesto or sun dried tomato sauce)

Cottage cheese with dry ranch dressing mixed into it.

Refried Beans with a little cheese and taco sauce

Pureed chicken with low fat greek yogurt & hot sauce - heat it up and mix well

tuna with low fat mayo and pickle juice

Here are a few to get you started. But honestly, it may not look the greatest but puree what ever your family is having for dinner. (if you are married) I pureed a normal person sized portion and used the leftovers for extra meals and meals to bring to work.

Try:

oatmeal or cream of wheat thinned out with milk

Cottage cheese with strained fruit

Soft scrambled eggs

pureed chicken with purred broccoli or green Beans

Hummus

Refried beans ( some brand have more Protein than others; read the labels)

Some folks like mashed potatoes

Try home made cauliflower Soup pureed

Tuna salad

The key is to keep it simple to see which foods sit well with you.

Good luck and congratulations on another milestone!

I made a poppyseed chicken casserole and it was delicious. I pureed the chicken and substituted the sour cream for Greek yogurt. I thought I'd miss the sour cream but honestly the plain greek yogurt tasted the same (plus it has a ton of protein). I found my recipe on Pinterest.

I was trying to think of recipes myself during my puréed and soft food phase and I decided to try ground turkey with cream of celery soup. Not bad, maybe some seasoning may be needed. Another combo was ground turkey and avocado.

Nice to see other recipes on here ????

I am in the same stage and have been loving a bit of ricotta with a bit of sauce and a bit of shredded low fat mozzarella cheese. Heated up its so good. My doctor basically said at my post op to keep it to mushy foods, protein first, no bread, no pasta, no rice, but pretty much try what ever as long as it's mushy.
