I can't stand the shakes, I'm dizzy my calve muscles are cramping I keep belching and no bowl movement everything smells rotten. I don't know I'm just miserable maybe I'm just being a wuss

I haven't had my surgery yet but just want you to know someone hears you and is sending good energy your way. Have you called your doctor?

Hang tight it gets better! I'm two weeks out and still in pain, but so much improved. Keep positive and remember to take 10 deep breaths a day, drink water constantly, and try to walk if you can. Keep looking at before and after pictures to keep you focused :)

Make sure you are taking your vitamins and drink drink drink! Keep a journal of everything. Write your foods, vitamins and water daily. That way if there is an issue you can look back and see if you aren't getting enough of something. It can be helpful for your doc as well if you have to see them for anything.

Well, I found out the reason I couldn't get with it. I had a hernia when I went in and when they did my surgery they pinched it off well I hadn't had a bowl movement in 11 days they did an emergency surgery Thursday and thought I was going to have to have a colostomy bag. Turns out during the surgery I aspirated some bile. My mom was really worried. So now I have to weight a few more days on my phase 2 diet which really isn't fair. I'm going to eat setting to day even if it's cottage cheese or yogurt I've got to have something.

Wow! Glad you are ok!

The powder shakes make me nauseous and sick. Even the smell bothers me. Try EAS Advantage shakes. They can be found at Walmart. Those are pretty good and filling too.

There is a product called coco protein, it's coconut water + 20gms of protein. It comes in chocolate and piña colada flavor. The latter of the 2 is what I bought, and I've also recommended it to a fellow member and she bought the chocolate flavor. She loves the stuff and I am living off the stuff!! No gluten, lactose free and very low in sugars. Sold at the vitamin shoppe
