  1. Yes and I'm thrilled I had it done! Very little pain after surgery.
  2. Great job! You are beautiful! Wishing you all the best and have fun shopping for all those new, cute clothes! [emoji4][emoji4][emoji4]
  3. I drink the EAS Advantage protein shakes. They're pre-made and you just grab one out of the refrigerator and go. I've been chewing gummy vitamins called Biotin for hair, skin and nails. That helped my hair loss. You look wonderful!!
  4. I couldn't eat meats for almost a year. I can eat any meats or fish now. I had my surgery October, 2013 and am down 260 pounds and at goal.
  5. I had my RNY October, 2013 but am fairly new to the boards. I'm down 260 pounds and at goal! [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]

  8. Hi. My HW was 409, SW was 370 and my CW is 150. I'm 4'11". I feel great!
  9. . Thank you, James! I know what you mean about less padding now! I like your idea about the ice spikes! I'm going to look at Amazon for some!
  10. Hi all! I had my gastric bypass October, 2013 and am down 260 pounds! I'm thrilled with the new me! I'm very strict with myself and take all my Vitamins and supplements every day. However, I fell hard during our last snow storm and broke my left femur in FIVE places above my knee! I now have a plate, rod, and 9 screws in my leg and am off work recovering. I would hate to think what it could have been. So, the bypass surgery does weaken bones. Be careful out there! I now have physical and occupational therapy coming to my house to strengthen my arms and legs but it really sucks!
  11. I had gastric bypass in October, 2013 and started at 409 pounds. I'm now 150 and am having my arms done 12/22. I'm so excited but nervous. I feel great!
  12. I'm really excited. The surgeon said recovery is about two weeks but many go back to work after a week, depending on how they feel. ????
  13. I'm always cold too, but now I'm getting hot flashes so it's a new adventure in body temperature. Lol
  14. Hi all! My bariatric surgeon said I was at goal so I'm thrilled with that. I've lost 89% of my original body weight! Yay! My plastic surgeon has scheduled my arm surgery (bye bye bat wings) for 12/22/15! I'm so excited. I've been researching pain levels and recovery times and everyone says it's not that bad. If anyone has had their arms done, I'd be interested in hearing the details. Thanks so much! ????????????❤️❤️❤️
  15. I had RNY 10/13 and three fingers on my right hand were numb for two months then all of a sudden they were fine. Lol. Looking forward to seeing your journey. I started at 409 and am now 148. My surgeon said I'm at goal! ????
  16. You'll do great! Congratulations on the start of a whole new life! Wishing the best for you. ????
  17. Thanks so much! I love hugs too! Hugs back! Keep on going you're doing great. ????????.
  18. I like Atkins bars. High in protein and low in sugars. ????
  19. Holy mackerel! Way to go! ????????????????????????
  20. I've had it once. I have the opposite problem and can only go about every three days! Frustrating.
