Chicken

I am 3 month post op and I can not eat Chicken without it hurting so much I have to throw up. Also any Grilled meats. Pork other than grilled I can eat some but this no meat thing is horrible. Anyone else have this issue and what do you do?

First, make sure you are chewing the tougher thoroughly (at least 40x per bite). Second, take smaller bites. It's annoying because it takes longer, but it can keep you from stomach pains and/or vomiting.

It was nearly eight months before I could eat most meats. Hang in there!

Try cooking the chicken in a crock pot or make a small tinfoil tent with some water or chicken broth and bake it in the oven to keep it moist.
