Did anyone go back to work before 2 weeks ?

I feel really good and I have a very low key job which mostly I sit down for. My discharge instructions say 2 weeks or until off pain meds ... I am self employed so I can leave if it gets to be too much ... I just feel so stuck in the house lol

Really, I found it better than just sitting around at home. I have a pretty cushy job where I just sit at a desk, and I could drink Water, take breaks, and walk around whenever I wanted.

I was planning to buy gut feeling when excuse the pun. Is I will still be too weak and working on gas pains, hydration and getting protein in. I do have z desk job so I can manage urgent emails from home but think I will limit my self to that.

I was back doing emails while in Mexico, and full time 6 days later. Not because I had to, but because I was bored and I could. Self employed and at a desk.

Thanks everyone. I feel really good and I am following all my post op instructions but being home 2 weeks is just way too much for me

I had my surgery on a Wednesday. Was home Thursday. Went back to work the following Wednesday.

I went back 6 days after surgery (3 days off work not counting the weekend). I was on no pain meds and was feeling fine. I work in an office where I sit most of the day so I had zero complications

I went back after one week, but I did wear a binder which really helped my poor abs make it through the day.
