Surgery tomorrow!

I got my medical clearance forms, dress im wearing... And that's it. That's all I'm bringing. Am I missing anything anyone?? I'm so exited. Scared for the IV input becUse they're not numbing it first they're going to shove it in which terrifies me but yeah. Anything else I should bring or think of?

  • @@elrios1 - I think in a way it is like a re-boot (or re-birthday) when you are post-op.

Mine is tmrw too.

YAY! let me know how it goes.

Also for sports bra, i am just not wearing a bra or bringing one at all, does it matter?

Do good relax its going to be nice good pain drugs!

I have a very large chest, so there is no such thing as going without a bra. lol I bought a soft, unwired, front close bra for surgery, as it will be difficult to close in the back or pull a sports bra over my head. Also the underwire will press on the incisions.

I am excited today is my surgery day! I am ready to lose more weight. I have been planning since February so this is sort of unbelievable that the DAY is here. Today at 1:30pm.

Good luck to both of you and keep us posted!

If you do exactly what the doctors tell you and your nutritionist you will do great and I learned that when I thought I knew more than they did my weight loss slow down

I have my pillow for ride home and chap stick. Surgery in 1 hour!!

I heard chap stick is a big one and a pillow too

pillow for ride home! hydrate as late as possible.

happy re-birthday!

Happy re-birthday, that is cute I like that

I got in trouble for bringing my own chap stick, my hospital said it is contra band and you have to use what they provide

Good luck to all.....

Don't forget your incentive spirometer .. That plastic contraption you breath in to help expand your lungs. I have to use mine 2 weeks before surgery and bring to hospital. Also a robe..they want you to start walking those halls ASAP after your surgery.
